JK Final Details
With just a week to go, final details for the JK International Orienteering Festival in Northern Ireland are now available.
British Middle & Sprint championships this weekend
The best of British orienteering will head south to Brighton this weekend for the British Sprint Championships at the University of Sussex on Saturday, with the British Middle Championships taking place on Sunday at Worth Lodge near Crawley.

Nopesport Urban League 2011
Details of the twelve counting races of the Nopesport Urban League 2011, the nationwide urban orienteering league, have finally been announced.
Scottish 6 Days 2011 update
Plans are progressing well for the Scottish 6 Days to host around 3500 competitors on world class orienteering terrain on the west coast of Scotland this coming August, with around 700 entries already received from Australia, USA and all over UK and Europe.

You've just got a few more days remaining to get your entries in for some top notch barebones orienteering on some of the best terrain in Scotland, taking place on 14/15 August at Balmacara near Kyle of Lochalsh.
Grampian Mountain Challenge
For all orienteers interested in Long-O and multi-day events Grampian Orienteers are organising a mountain marathon (solo or pairs) near Braemar on 13th and 14th November with part of the course in a forest on 1:10,000 scale maps.

Guildford City Race
Join us for this inaugural city race in the heart of Guildford. The event combines tricky sprint legs through the picturesque streets of Guildford and parkland orienteering in Shalford Park, with the finish on an island in the river.
British Sprint Age Class Championships
The British Army Orienteering Club will be hosting the 2010 British Sprint Age Class Championships at HMS Sultan in Gosport on Sun 13 June 2010. The club will also be holding an urban race in the City of Winchester on Sat 12 June 2010. Entries for both events close at midnight on Sat 5 June 2010.
Harvester Relays 2010
Saxons Orienteering Club will be hosting the 2010 Harvester Weekend in and around Eridge Park, near Tunbridge Wells, on 8th-9th May with entries closing on May 1st. The weekend consists of a Sprint Race at Hargate Forest (Sat 8th May), the Harvester Relays at Old Eridge Park overnight of the 8th into Sunday morning and a Regional event on the same area on the morning of the 9th May.
British WOC team selection races
The World Orienteering Championships selection races for the British team will be held in Scotland from May 14th - 16th and entries are now open. Friday 14th will see a sprint race at Erskine near Glasgow, with Saturday and Sunday seeing events near Oban with a middle distance race at Ardnaskie and a classic on Creag Mhic Chailein.
First big weekend of the year
Spring is (finally) here and the British elite are getting ready for the season opener with the first major races of the year - the FVO double header at Touch and the Trossachs. The Trossachs being a World Ranking Event adds extra gravitas for those competing against some of the UK's toughest orienteering terrain, and an influx of European competitors will add to the competition.

This will be a great weekend for everyone on the superb terrain of the "PreWOC" World Cup 2010. Pack in a middle, an Orientshow, a WR night sprint & a WR classic, all in one weekend! All in Annecy, which is only 1 hour from Geneva airport. Think about staying on to take in the spectacular final of the 2010 World Cup: a sprint in Geneva & a middle in Lausanne, the weekend after.
