Orienteering at 2013 Maccabiah Games - Maybe

The Maccabiah Sports Committee has conditionally agreed to include the sport of orienteering at the Maccabiah Games in 2013, provided the Israel Sport Orienteering Association (ISOA) submits a list of 50 non-Israeli Jewish orienteering athletes by July 31, 2011.

JWOC Long

The second race of the 2011 Junior World Championships was the long distance. Again, no qualification races just a straight final with 7.6km for the women and 11.1km for the men over the fast beach forest hills.

JWOC Sprint

JWOC 2011 opened on Sunday with the sprint distance in the small town of Lebork in north Poland. With no qualification race it was a straight final with 134 women and 164 men from 36 nations.

Harvester Relays

The Harverster Relay Weekend is now just under 3 weeks away. The current level of entries suggests that there will be plenty of competitive racing with the largest field for 10 years.

Cliffhanger Ultrasprint returns to Sheffield

July 3rd sees the running of the Ultrasprint at the Cliffhanger outdoor festival in Sheffield for the 5th time. South Yorkshire Outdoors will construct a specially designed labyrinth for the race. Venla/Jukola 2011

We're at Jukola this weekend, along with around 14,000 competitors taking part in the Venla and Jukola Relays, and many more thousand spectators and helpers. We'll have live updates from the field, along with the occasional video and other bits and pieces here.
