Samsonites Picks

for the first in a new series of articles completely unrelated to orienteering, samsonite recovers from almost taking his finger off to type one handed for you to bring some culture to your hard training asses. he writes from the [nope] bunker deep under the burgh -

"this week, i have been mostly listening to snow patrol. their new album "final straw" is a rather fine peice of work that really should be album of the year, but won't because it has sold close to nil copies. and as someone said to me recently, the song "run" is the new soundtrack to everything you do. or it should be. go buy it.

if you havent seen the movie "city of god" yet, go see it. absolutely incredible. don't let the subtitles put you off. it's got a rather lovely 60s soul soundtrack too.
as for books (if you can handle something more satisfying than heat magazine) you must go and buy everything ever written by jack kerouac, if you havent already.
quite soon i will be mostly wearing nope clothing. word on the street is that the first collection is not far off.
thats it for now, i feel a dizzy spell coming on.
