This past weekend saw the qualifying rounds for October's CompassSport Cup take place across the country (with the exception of Scotland where the qualifiers will be in March). There was some close scoring in some rounds as clubs had large numbers of runners out in force with some dominant performances elsewhere giving an early indicator of who to watch out for in the final at Sutton Park in Birmingham.
