Orienteers all over the country were running for their clubs in their respective Compass Sport Cup Heats this weekend, and most of the favouries got through to the final, but there will be a few clubs appearing in the final for the first time in quite a while:

Congratulations to all the clubs who qualified for the final.

In the large clubs competition there will be Bristol, Devon, Southdowns, South London, Happy Herts, Octavia Droobers, Nottingham, South Yorkshire, Airienteers and Lakeland competing for the Compass Sport Cup. Only Devon, Happy Herts and Lakeland did not compete in last year's final.

The small clubs competing for the Trophy in the final will be Swansea Bay, South Wales, Sarum, Wimborne, Essex Stragglers, Potteries, Eryri, West Cumberland, Forth Valley and Edinburgh Southern. There are quite a few clubs who qualified this year who didn't compete in last year's final - namely South Wales, Wimborne, Potteries, West Cumberland and Edinburgh Southern.

The final will be hosted by NOC at Blidworth on 14th October.
