Travel and Accommodation
Note: Accommodation on the Island is limited so it is advisable to book early avoid commuting daily from the Mainland.

Food: There is one small Post office / shop on the Island. The advice for those taking a house is to book an evening meal and or breakfast in either of the Hotels. Murrays will take bookings.

Hotels: Both Day's and Murray's have views to dream about, and both offer excellent food. Murray's Hotel was extended and upgraded two years ago, while the current owners of Day's, Mrs Day's son Brendan and his wife Bridie, hope to open in January 2005 after almost 2years spent refurbishing in preparation for this event.

Meanwhile, the island has several quality B&Bs as well as a hostel which has 30 bunks and family rooms. Across the road from the Hostel is a very good restaurant .

Ferries:There are two ferries, the Dun Aengus and the Aran Queen, each of which sails three times daily between Cleggan and Inishbofin from Easter to October. Tickets for sailings are available on the ferry at a special Week end rate for Orienteers ?12 return for adults and ?6 euro return for children.

There is another Ferry:The Western Kingfisher, owned and run by Johnny King from Cleggan, is the smallest (12 passengers) and fastest boat (approx. 35 minutes) to Inishbofin. It will run a taxi-type service to the island at any time.
