woc :: middle final women

The results are in from the womens middle final and it is gold again for Simone Niggl-Luder. Like the long final, Simone had to put in a top performance to secure top spot as she was pushed the whole way again by Norways Marianne Anderson. Marianne put in another superb effort and ave it her all once again but it was not enough and she had to settle for 2nd. Russia Tanja Rabkiana took 3rd spot.

For GB it was Sarah Rollins who posted the fastest time and took 16th place along with it. Early starter, Rachel Elder was next in 28th place and Helen Bridle was a little further back in 35th place.

The mens race is now in full swing. Follow the race at www.woc2006.dk.
