This weekend saw another installment of the Swedish Elite Series, held in the North of Sweden around the Sundsvall community. Sprint on Friday, Middle Saturday and Long on Sunday.

The beast from the east, Russian Valentin Novikov, had a storming weekend winning all 3 races. The young Martin Johansson, just 21, had a great weekend. The JWOC silver and gold medalist from 2004 picked up two 2nd places.

In the women's there were no suprises with Simone, Karolina and Emma at the top. Simone took an impressive 4 minute victory in the long, with the World Champion nearly 7 minutes down, back in 4th.
