England have successfully defeated the oposition at this years Interland, held in the Ossendrecht area of Belgium.

The English team were strong accross the board with wins for: Jess Halliday (W20), Jane Morgan (W40), Victoria Stevens (W17), Hilary Bloor (W50), Catherine Bushnell (W14), Graham Gristwood (M21) and Peter Hodkinson (M14) and there were a score more top placings accross the results boards.

Interland is an annual competition held between England, The Netherlands, Wesfalen - Germany and the two Belgium factions VVO and FSRO. It is unique in that it caters for all ages, with a team spanning M14 up to W60!
