Nopesport Urban League 2010 Kicks off this weeked


UK's Premier Urban Orienteering League

Yep, it’s back and bigger than before! The Nopesport Urban League returns for its 3rd year and will include more races for you to get your urban orienteering fix.

As has become the custom, the series kicks off in Edinburgh this weekend (30th Jan) where Edinburgh University OC play hosts with their Edinburgh City Race, a top venue to start off the year. The league then moves on to a new urban race to the British Orienteering calendar, Carlisle, just a week later (6th Feb).

The highlights for the 2010 league includes; a change of date for the Sheffield leg of the series sets up an enticing double-header weekend in September with a race in Lincoln, the return to Warwick after a fantastic debut in 2008, the inclusion of several new venues and a great blend with some established favourites including London & York.

How do you take part I hear you ask well, simply enter any of the classes or courses in any of the events in the series and you will automatically be included in the league, simple! Your age class will determine which league your in with best 6 results events to count towards gaining the coveted Urban League trophies.

With such a strong line-up, The Nopesport Urban League 2010 promises to showcase another excellent year of urban Orienteering. Good luck and see you on the start line!
