BUOT Weekend
Student Orienteering for all abilities
The British Universities Orienteering Tour started out in march of this year with a group of 15 students heading to Denmark for training, socializing and racing at the Spring Cup. Within the group was a broad mix of students with a wide range of ability in Orienteering. The tour was a big success and enjoyed by all who went and consequently the tour will be run again next spring.
As well as holding the main tour again in 2010, BUOT are now holding a weekend in the UK for students to get together, train and socialize.
This is being held on 27th - 29th November, in Sheffield.
There will be 2 days of training, good social activity and plenty of laughs, what more could you want for a weekend in early winter?
There are no restrictions on Orienteering ability, everyone is welcome to come and try it out or to develop existing talents. The more the merrier! It is aimed to be cheap, simple and enjoyable but feel free to get in touch to find out more.
Please email daveshorah (at) hotmail.com by the end of October at the very latest if interested, then once numbers are known more details will be circulated.
