Two of last year's FCC Series winners, Alison O'Neil & Scott Fraser (both Edinburgh University), took maximum points from this weekends opening races setting them up well for the season ahead. Other EUOC members are also not too far behind, in the W20 class Kirsten Strain is in 2nd place with 99 points, just ahead of Helen Gardner in 3rd with 97 points. In the M20 class Oleg Chepelin's 3rd & 2nd places at the weekend put him in 2nd place on 106 points, ahead of team mates Dan Halliday (96 points) in 3rd and James Tullie(88 points) who is tied with Rhys Findlay-Robinson of SHUOC in 4th.

In the W18 class, Rose Hodkinson of NOC leads on 115 points, having taken maximum points from race 1 and a 2nd place at the Trossachs. Behind her in joint 2nd place is Jessica Halliday of OD & Rebecca Roberts of SROC who took 106 points from their trip north for the opening weekend. In M18 Douglas Tullie has 106 points after his fantastic 3rd place at the Trossachs, leading Andrew Llewellyn by 3 points with David Schorah in 3rd on 99 points.

Next weekend sees races 3 & 4, and with only one of the series leaders running things will be changed once again by this time next week. The full scores are available here.
